It is strange to see children fighting instead of adults. different in a good way.

It shows how much evil there is... to manipulate the youth to do anothers evil bidding! I figured it may give the readers more sense of how far the villians will go!

I thought that was somewhat standard with the Sith.

Yeah the Sith are evil but I am try to give the New Sith Order a cult like feel to it..... where the turn young innocent kids down on their luck into brainwashed servants!

They kind of already do that. Look at Galen Marek or Darth Maul. They were both ripped away from there homes and force to become a Sith apprentice.

I always thought the same as the Jedi as well.... Taking in children before they know who their parents are, before they have any emotional attachment. This way they forge their own ideals into the younglings! But this storyline is more like Exar Kun (there will be no Rule of Two.... well for now)

I agree. The Jedi are just as corrupt as the Sith. But sometimes it is the right thing to do. Like when the parents die or are scum that can not raise a child properly.

They also were corrupted by Sidious unwittingly! But before that they were changing their belief system to better control the Jedi knights.... During the Old Republic Jedi were allowed to how families and have feelings! Then to better "control" the Jedi Knights they banned emotional feelings and having loved ones.... Not to mention that at one time the practice of Ashla and Bogan were both trained within the Order until the council decide to ban the teachings of Bogan hence Dark Jedi and later the Sith were created.... Due to the Jedi Council trying to control their people (guess it is a bit of a stretch)
